7. The 2011 Finish All Over Again
Basically, Alberto Del Rio thought he won, Santino Marella returned from a spell on the outside, hit the Cobra, picked Berti up, Berti reversed, and Berti won the match. Entertaining? There's no doubt about it - it was. But not this year, please. There's no reason why having someone like a Heath Slater play the role of Santino Marella wouldn't work down the line, but it's simply too soon to see the repeat of the underdog jobber - you know what I'm talking about, Josh Bredl - make it all the way down to the final two before just coming up short. And while the debut of Social Outcasts and the heightened attention paid to Slater in particular with his own interview on WWE's Youtube channel has potentially opened up the possibility of him doing something out of the ordinary, WWE simply shouldn't do it. There's a far bigger and more legitimate story to tell with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the line. Let's have a serious finish, please.
