Dean Ambrose had a stellar set of matches with Seth Rollins for the World Championship, and cut one helluva promo that never was aired live after losing at Money in the Bank that could seal the deal and make him truly worthy as a WrestleMania competitor. As well, Ambrose never really loses any steam in booking and also is in a WWE film, which ultimately means that on some level the company sees money in him. However, as long as he's paired with Roman Reigns, he's "that other guy in The Shield," and not truly allowed to break out and create his own character. In watching the evolution of Ambrose into January, if he's allowed some space to start breaking out, he shouldn't be a surprise as a potential Rumble winner.
