5. John Cena
He's done it before, and if he's as well rested as we likely think he'll be by January, John Cena could very easily win the 2016 Royal Rumble. Cena's WWE's in-ring MVP of 2015. He's had a career year at an unlikely time, showcasing a desire to learn how to add dimensions in his character late in his career on a level parallel to Hulk Hogan turning heel and joining the nWo. "Pro wrestler" John Cena's had great matches with Cesaro, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, Neville, Stardust and many more this year, thus making a 2016 Royal Rumble win make all of the sense in the world. After Cena's 2015, if he won the Rumble, would the fans still riot? If booked correctly, a Cena win followed by a WrestleMania loss could be the image shifting moments to actually continue to revitalize the current United States Champion's career.
