2. Roman Reigns To Do A Shawn Michaels
Roman Reigns has been confirmed as the man who will enter first in the Royal Rumble. Logically, the second entrant will be someone from either The Wyatt Family or League Of Nations. Right away, that creates the opportunity for the announcers to talk about Roman's limited chances of leaving with the WWE Title still in his possession. There's absolutely zero chance that Reigns will be eliminated before the closing stretch of the match, it's almost a certainty that he will be there come the end. WWE are extremely invested in pushing Reigns as the all-conquering babyface of his generation, so it's unlikely he'll be dumped out of the bout before people begin to realise he just might win. Looking at things plainly, there's a real chance that Roman Reigns could be the first man to go from entering #1 to winning the Royal Rumble since Chris Benoit in 2004. Even though the Canadian's achievement was great, most people associate the idea of going the distance with Shawn Michaels. Incredibly, HBK's 1995 Rumble win was far shorter than Benoit's, but there's little chance WWE would refer to Benoit if Reigns did win.
