And while there will always be accusations of predictability, that doesn't necessarily mean it was the wrong booking. If anything, it protects Bayley at the same time as making her look the part for the future...

But as ever, you can't please all of the people all of the time: and the issue of Charlotte's name is clearly doubly damning. She won't get the praise she's due because she's a Flair and nobody acknowledges rising stars who appear to have benefitted from their bloodline, and then when she's doing well, the company are accused of giving gold to the name...

And that sort of criticism misses the real issue with the match, that awful, reductive #JustBayley rubbish...
