WWE Royal Rumble 2017: Predicting 10 Biggest Spots

9. Kofi Kingston's Latest Miracle

Kofi Kingston’s acrobatic escapes have become a staple of the Royal Rumble match. It started in 2012 when it looked like The Miz had tossed Kingston out of the ring, but Kofi miraculously landed in a handstand and “walked” his way back into the match. It has continued every year since, and last year, Kingston was saved from elimination by landing on Big E’s shoulders on the outside.

It’s unlikely that Kofi will ever win a Royal Rumble match, but these spots at least help separate him from the pack. The match practically guarantees that the former Intercontinental Champion will get at least one memorable moment, and with all three New Day members set to compete this year, Kofi will have ample opportunities to pull-off the impossible again.

Who knows what kind of move Kingston will pull-off this year. We’ve already seen him bounce back towards the ring on JBL’s announce chair, leap from the barricade to the ring, and get caught by a gang of Rosebuds and crowdsurf his way back inside. At this point, Kofi’s only limit is his own creativity, and it’d be a cruel move for WWE not to allow him such a spot this year. Whether it involves an incredible athletic feat, a trombone, or a big bowl of questionable cereal, Kingston’s sure to provide one of the Rumble’s most awesome moments.
