WWE have big plans for Braun Strowman in 2017. The ex-Wyatt Family member has flourished on Raw, and he hasn’t looked out of place when rubbing shoulders with the brand’s biggest stars in recent weeks. He’s far from the finished article, but Strowman is progressing at an incredible rate, and it’s only a matter of time before he finds himself in Universal Title contention.

Braun has a few bridges to cross before he reaches that level, however, and proving himself against WWE’s other monsters is near the top of the list. Recent weeks have seen WWE tease big confrontations between Braun and The Undertaker, Brock Lesnar, and the Big Show, with the latter looking most likely at this point.

It was rumoured that a Braun vs. Big Show feud was on the cards several months ago, but it never materialised on television. Now, with Big Show set to face Shaquille O’Neal at WrestleMania 33, it looks like we’re getting a monster vs. monster story in the interim.

Show isn’t exactly involved much these days, but he’s still an ideal gatekeeper for WWE’s budding big men to prove themselves against. If Braun really is the behemoth he’s made out to be, then he must lock horns with Show, and throwing the World’s Largest Athlete over the top rope would make a huge statement.
