WWE Royal Rumble 2017: Rating Each Entrant's Chances Of Winning

5. Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar was the second man to announce his entry into the Royal Rumble. Still reeling from his crippling 85-second Survivor Series loss to Goldberg, the Beast Incarnate will be out to destroy everything in his path, and potentially score a Universal Title shot along the way.

Chasing number one contendership will likely become a secondary concern if Lesnar encounters Goldberg, however. The Undertaker's sudden arrival was the only thing preventing the two from tearing into each other on Monday Night Raw, but nothing will hold them back in San Antonio. They have been Raw's primary focus for months, and you safely bet on a big showdown between the two.

Goldberg and Lesnar are slated to settle their differences at WrestleMania. Their bad blood is already boiling over, but if one were to eliminate the other on Sunday, it'll explode. Look for a huge chunk of the match to be built around their interactions.

As far as winning goes, most oddsmakers have given Goldberg a stronger chance than Lesnar, but Brock is one of the most dominant wrestlers in WWE history. He'll always have a strong chance of winning the Royal Rumble, regardless of the circumstances.

Chances: Strong.
