3. Goldberg

Goldberg has been among the bookies' favourite to win the 2017 Royal Rumble since first announcing his participation. The former WCW Champion was the first superstar to declare himself "in," and he hasn't lost a drop of momentum since Survivor Series. Whether he wins or not, Goldberg is going to look like a monster in San Antonio.

Despite his status as a favourite, Goldberg doesn't need to win the Royal Rumble to remain one of WWE's most important wrestlers. He has consistently been Raw's most over babyface since returning in October, and barring a catastrophe, he's going to stay that way. Goldberg's return has defied all expectations, and provided he doesn't decide to headbutt another door on his way to the ring, he's all set for a great Royal Rumble.

Chances: Among the favourites.
