WWE Royal Rumble 2017: Rating Each Entrant's Chances Of Winning

1. The Undertaker

The Undertaker is still very much the man to beat in many fans' eyes, and understandably so. The man is a WWE institution, one of the sport's all-time greats, and the company's biggest special attraction. As far as matches go, nothing but the biggest will suffice for the 52-year-old Undertaker, whose WrestleMania plans are still up in the air.

The John Cena match isn't happening, and the latest reports link him to a showdown with Roman Reigns. Given that Reigns is a favourite to unseat Kevin Owens as Universal Champion this weekend, this would appear to put Taker in the driving seat to win the Rumble and headline the biggest show of the year.

There's a strong chance that this is Taker's final run. This kind of talk always surfaces at this time of year, but the possibility grows stronger each and every time, and he can't keep cheating Father Time forever. If this is his last stand, then what better way to bow out than by winning the Rumble and fighting for the title at WrestleMania? It's nothing less than deserved, and there'll be few complaints if it happens.

Chances: Heavy favourite.
