WWE Royal Rumble 2018: Predicting 13 Wrestlers Not Yet Announced

3. Braun Strowman

Wrestlers contesting World Title matches don't always feature in the Royal Rumble, but Braun Strowman needs to appear. He's WWE's hottest star, their most magnetic performer, and the only man guaranteed to create a spectacle whenever he appears. On top of this, he's also the best candidate for the Kane/Diesel run in a Rumble almost completely devoid of believable monsters.

Picture Braun getting taken out of the Universal Title match through an elaborate action movie-style stunt, similar to the way he was immobilised at TLC. Battered, bloodied, and utterly infuriated, he'd then ambush somebody backstage, take their spot à la Mick Foley in 2004, then go on the rampage, throwing swarms of wrestlers over the top rope. Then, the company could have him thrown out by another big-hitter, setting up his next feud, with his wounded state making him look like even more of a force (and protecting him when he's eliminated).

Why wouldn't they book that?
