WWE Royal Rumble 2019 - 10 Most Likely Winners

I can't think of a choice that would be any more controversial than this one.

The Rock won the Royal Rumble all the way back in 2000 (except he didn't, The Big Show got robbed. It should be him making a movie with Jason Statham while The Rock stars in Knucklehead). Since his last in-ring run in 2013, Rock has made infrequent appearances in the company and has not wrestled, bar his showstealer with Erick Rowan at WrestleMania 32.

One would think Dwayne would value his movie career too much to put his 46-year-old body back in the ring. However, this is The Rock, and The Rock does what he wants, so if he wants to wrestle at 'Mania 35, there's little anyone can do to stop him. Therefore, he should be considered a possibility.

The Rock winning the Rumble would ruffle a lot of feathers. Firstly: it would be yet another ageing legend winning an accolade they don't need for the sake of nostalgia. Secondly: there's no way in heck we're getting Rock-AJ Styles, meaning if things go the way there are now, we're looking at The Rock vs. Roman Reigns.

That idea is can't-miss and irresistible... if your name is Vince McMahon. If not, you're already groaning.
