WWE Royal Rumble 2019: 10 Surprise Entrants We Could See

1. Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch has not and will not be announced for the women’s Royal Rumble match even though she’s one of the early betting favourites. This is because she’s facing Asuka for the SmackDown Women’s Championship on the night, and while her inclusion here is akin to cheating, she would technically be a surprise entrant if she were to worm her were into the bout.

WWE are almost certainly doing Becky vs. Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 35. That means one of Becky or Charlotte is probably winning the Rumble, and the other could take contendership (or even a belt) in the Elimination Chamber.

The pathway to getting Becky into the Rumble is simple. Rousey interferes in the Asuka match. Becky loses sympathetically, and she’s pissed off, so she beats the piss out of Carmella, takes the number 30 spot, wins the Rumble, and immediately challenges Ronda for WrestleMania.

If the women’s Rumble is the main event - and it should be - this would end the show on a huge, heroic babyface moment and at this stage, not doing this or something of a similar magnitude would let everyone down.
