Can you imagine. Can you impinge if Rey Mysterio won the 2019 Royal Rumble? Wouldn’t that just tell you that this year wasn't going to be the unbearable hell-scape that 2018 was? That instead it's going to be warm and wholesome and lovely? That all the Good Boys were going to have a nice time? Won't happen, obviously, but Mysterio claims that he came back to WWE with a plan and that that plan, involves him winning another Rumble.

Now here’s one. A man with a genuine legitimate claim to a title shot, seeing as he pinned the champion not all that long ago, Mustafa Ali will be entering his first ever Royal Rumble. Couldn’t win it, surely, surely, but he announced he’d be in it on Twitter earlier this week and is as strong a bet as anyone outside the obvious favourites.
