WWE Royal Rumble 2019: Predicting All 17 Wrestlers Not Yet Announced
Three days to go, but all these spots to fill...
Royal Rumble 2019 looms.
The big event is now just days away, and while the past few weeks have seen WWE gradually populate their two over-the-top-rope battle royals, the company have left plenty of scope for surprises. 23 of the 30 women's slots have been filled, and the men's side is even sparser. We've got 20 names so far, but John Cena is running an injury angle and probably won't make it to Phoenix, freeing another spot for potential surprises.
Such things are the event's lifeblood, though it's unlikely that WWE have 17 individual surprises up their sleeves. That's okay, though. Most of the company's big names are already Rumble-confirmed (barring a few exceptions), but there are boatloads of talented roster members who haven't had the call yet, and the company have pulled off so many comebacks over the past few years that their list of genuine shocks is running low. A handful of low-key, unsexy spot-fillers are inevitable.
Regardless, the Rumble wouldn't be the Rumble without at least a couple of unannounced big names to get the adrenaine going, so let's dive into it, taking a look at both matches with a mix of unconfirmed full-timers, faces from the past, and injury returnees...
