WWE Royal Rumble 2023: 10 Surprise Entrants We Could See

6. Chelsea Green

Chelsea Green has already made moves ahead of signing to WWE, and isn't that strange?

It's not as if Triple H rated her when she was in NXT since 2018. In fact, beyond the pure, spiteful greed that was WWE's warehouse era, it's difficult to ascertain why she was even signed in the first place. A far better character than in-ring worker, she didn't meet the profile of a TakeOver-level challenger. And, since NXT wasn't a show with particular range to it, Green wasn't effectively deployed as a TV-friendly act or anything of the sort either.

Her main roster was blighted by injury, not that there appeared to be any substantial push in the plans, and she was released in April 2021 to ensure that the company could post record profits.

She impressed in GCW alongside Matt Cardona as his throwback valet, working the hardcore crowd effectively, and has earned another look - although, one seemingly doesn't need to earn anything to get a return these days. All you have to have done is step inside of the Performance Center once.

Regardless, she has shuttered her OnlyFans page knowing that racy content does not fly in WWE - unless a man is writing, producing or directing it, in which case it's fine - which might make her appearance a formality.
