WWE Royal Rumble 2023: 10 Things That Must Happen

1. Sami Zayn Wins The Men’s Rumble

Last year, suggesting that Sami Zayn should win the Rumble would sound like the mad ramblings of a diehard ROH fan from back in the day. In 2023, Sami is the best option on the full-time roster to win the thing then stare down Roman Reigns in April on the biggest card(s) of the entire year.

In a surprising twist, especially after Zayn protecting KO earlier in the night, Roman would actually help his 'Honorary' stablemate come out on top. Why? Well, Reigns could reason afterwards that Sami wants to step up and claim his throne anyway, so why not meet him head on at 'Mania? Plus, Roman doesn't see Zayn on his level.

He'd thus (in theory) be able to officially teach the dude a lesson with the whole world watching. It's a beautiful story that needs to be penned, and the only way to get there is by booking a shock Sami win on Saturday.

The Rock can free up his schedule for a marquee bout vs. Roman at SummerSlam, or something.
