WWE Royal Rumble 2023: Predicting All 30 Entrants

20. X-Pac - #11

The surprise entrant trope descended into parody under Vince McMahon because his deteriorating, puerile brain appreciated its easy, shallow appeal too often. The thing is, it's too over and expected now. It can't be done away with entirely, and nor should it. It's fun as a one-off.

Just don't put Michael Cole in the c*nt.

Since Tony Khan and Triple H appear to have forged a secret pact to book every single wrestler who's ever stepped foot on North American soil, there aren't many options.

X-Pac can still go, certainly to the level of a Rumble cameo limited to the odd spinning crescent kick, Bronco Buster and fellatio request, and it's about f*cking time that a man without whom modern wrestling would look unrecognisable is rewarded with a nostalgia pop on a massive show.
