WWE Royal Rumble 2025 Men's Winner Revealed? (WWE News)
Triple H has a creative team "whiteboard favourite" to win the 30-man Royal Rumble next month.
WrestleVotes Radio (via Fightful Select) is reporting that Bron Breakker is the current "whiteboard favourite" to win the men's 30-man Royal Rumble match next month in Saudi Arabia. For context, the phrase "whiteboard favourite" refers to the whiteboard that was seen during episodes of WWE Unreal on Netflix earlier this year.
That's typically what Triple H and the company creative team use to draft up plans for future matches, storylines, feuds, title changes and more. Picking each Rumble winner is clearly one of the biggest decisions WWE will make all year, so a lot of thought goes into it.
Fightful did point out that Breakker vs. CM Punk is currently slated for the 5 January episode of Raw, but they believe there's a solid chance fans will see more from Bron's push after that. He's a top pick to take home the win in Riyadh on 31 January. Do that, and The Vision's spearhead (ahem) would have a clear path to World Title glory at WrestleMania 42.
As noted in the website's write up, plans can change quickly in WWE. They could certainly have Breakker down as a tentative winner for the men's match then change their minds the closer we get to the PLE. Indeed, Hunter could decide on Rumble winners the day of if he so wished - WWE make the rules.
Bron's stock has been rising for a few years now, and it's clear to anyone who watches Raw that he's a future World Champ in the making. Winning the Royal Rumble would be a huge statement of intent from the writers that they're serious about pushing him to the top of the card.
