4. Cedric Alexander

Cedric Alexander and Kota Ibushi may have already delivered the best match we'll see in the CWC tournament with their fantastic bout in the second round. And to top it off, in one of the best feel good moments of the year, the crowd enthusiastically chanted "Please sign Cedric!" after the bout. This lead to Triple H walking out, and giving Alexander, the loser of the match, his seal of approval.

Alexander is most well known for his work in Ring of Honor, where he was largely used as a mid-card talent, who seemed poised for a big singles push, but was never positioned in a really meaningful way. Currently he looks to be in fantastic shape after losing a lot of weight, and at 27 years-old, he's young enough to develop into a star. All he needs is an opportunity.

If he can continue with the respect and enthusiasm from the crowd that he received in the CWC (along with maintaining his incredible leaping attacks), then he could quickly become the face of the entire Cruiserweight Division.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
