Special guest referee Candice worked the crowd in her custom take on the black and white stripes. Melina began the match upset after MNM lost the Tag Team titles to Animal and Heidenreich earlier in the pay-per-view. This match was one of Torrie’s best in-ring performances, which is largely ignored due to the Bra & Panties stipulation.

The Technical:

After some roughhousing, Melina hit Torrie with a hard mat slam, however Torrie took advantage of Melina’s cocky taunting with a flying head scissors. Torrie used the abdominal stretch as an innovative way to remove Melina’s top. Melina’s forearm strikes looked vicious even with the “we want puppies” background chants. Torrie’s two flying lariats to dropkick combo elicited commentator and ECW veteran Tazz to describe the contest as a “very physical bra and panties match.” There was a nice sequence where Torrie hit a harsh snap suplex and attempted a roll over, only for it to be reversed by Melina’s one-legged monkey flip.

The Titillating:

Candice Michelle and her spin on the stripes took refereeing to a whole other place. Michael Cole believed she was the first referee to ever officiate a match while wearing a garter. All three women ended up exposed. Torrie in defeat, Melina after a failed attack on Candice, and Candice stripped herself just for the fun of it.
