4. Lita Vs. Trish Stratus

While this match didn’t reach the same heights as Trish and Lita’s historic Raw main event (6 December 2004), or their subsequent clashes, here they showed the promise of what was to come and the chemistry between both women.
The Technical:
Lita opened the bout with a vicious flying clothesline followed by punches which both women sold like they were brawling during an earthquake. While Lita’s Litacanrana evolved to become more fluid, the result during this clash looked pretty brutal with Trish’s head appearing to spike on the mat. Trish hit a nice by-the-books snap suplex. Lita reversed Trish’s attempt at a Stratusfaction into a clean backdrop, setting up for a Litasault, or as Jim Ross described it going “puppy to puppy on that moonsault.” Lita stripped Trish to retain her championship.
The Titillating:
Trish began the match in panties outdoing Lita’s ever visible thong. Trish straddled Lita choking her with her own top. Both women engaged in Bra and Panties 101 rolling around the mat. Trish lost revealing even skimpier underwear than she began the match wearing. Lita celebrated her win on the top rope, title raised, licking her lips.
