WWE: Scott Hall's 10 Greatest Career Moments

2. "You Know Who I Am But You Don't...Know Why...I'm Here."

http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xqmnpg_wcw-nitro-1996-scott-hall-debut_sport The loss of Razor Ramon was a major one for WWE. Not only was he one of the company's biggest stars, he was also one of the smartest performers in the industry. Scott Hall, the man behind the Bad Guy, had a mind for the business that few did and it was that mind that made him an asset to Ted Turner, Eric Bischoff and WCW. On the May 27, 1996 episode of Monday Nitro, Hall made his way through the crowd and interrupted a match between Mike Enos and Steve Doll. With microphone in hand, he addressed an audience who was eager to see what he had to say. He called out Ted Turner, mocked Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage and warned, "you know who I am but you don't know why I'm here." Fans would find out all-too-well why Hall was in WCW as he laid the framework for what would become the New World Order. Kevin Nash would join him shortly thereafter and Hogan defected from WCW as well, leading to one of the greatest heel turns in wrestling history. Together with Nash and Hoan, and with the assistance of up to 20 other competitors at any given time, Hall rose a tidal wave of success. The NWO took WCW to unheard of heights and was a perfectly orchestrated wrestling angle...at least early on. Hall, personally, would become of the most over stars in the industry, proving it on a nightly basis just by holding a microphone and saying, "hey, yo."
