WWE Sending Raw Wrestlers To Tonight's SmackDown

Tonight's SmackDown lineup will be bolstered by some notable WWE Raw stars.

WWE has booked a couple of Raw champions to boost tonight's SmackDown lineup.

As announced by the promotion, Raw Tag Team Champions RK-Bro will face The New Day and SmackDown Tag Team Champions in a Triple Threat tag bout on the show. This follows on from Survivor Series 2021 (21 November), where Randy Orton and Riddle defeated Jimmy and Jey Uso in a non-title exhibition match typical of the pay-per-view's format.

Orton's last SmackDown match was in October 2019, when he participated in an eight-man tag. Riddle, meanwhile, teamed with Jeff Hardy to face John Morrison and The Miz on the blue brand's 9 October 2020 show.

WWE has also announced a bunch of other bouts for tonight's SmackDown, including Toni Storm vs. Charlotte Flair in a SmackDown Women's Championship Contender's Match. Victory will grant Storm a shot at Flair's belt following a fortnight of pie-throwing from the feuding duo.

Elsewhere, Naomi will finally get her hands on Sonya Deville should their billed singles match go ahead, while Xia Li will wrestle for the first time since being brought up by NXT in the 2021 WWE Draft a month and a half ago.
