WWE SmackDown Live!: 10 Things You Might Have Missed (Oct 10)

4. In Your Face

Baron Corbin
WWE

Baron Corbin is a pr*ck. Good for him!

A million WWE Superstar DVD profiles will offer the same bit of advice time and time again to those hopefuls looking to smash through a complex glass ceiling - be yourself with the volume turned up.

'The Lone Wolf' did just that from the moment he walked into the Performance Centre. Though nothing between the ropes ever particularly took flight, his arrogance and indignant confidence was on a rocket to the moon. He didn't just look above-it-all so much as barely-even-in-it-at-all.

His recent decision to 'be himself with the volume turned up' on Twitter got him in all sorts of hot water when he had a pop at a military man that signalled the start of an Enzo Amore-like decline, and an attempt to turn the major blow of losing his Money In The Bank briefcase into something meaningful was harpooned by the comedic d*ckheadery of John Cena at SummerSlam.

Defeating Tye Dillinger on Sunday and AJ Styles conclusively two nights later, Corbin had every right place a brand new chip on his own shoulder, and his abuse of the stagehand in the back epitomised the on-screen a*sehole he's always had the potential to become.
