WWE SmackDown Spoilers 14/8/12 - World Title SummerSlam Match Decided

Last night's WWE SmackDown tapings spoilers from Austin, Texas. The show will air on Friday in the US (SyFy) and in the UK (Sky Sports). Dark Match Alex Riley defeated Jinder Mahal SmackDown results; The show opened with Alberto Del Rio demanding his World Heavyweight Title shot against Sheamus to be restored at SummerSlam. General Manager Booker T comes down and then is closely followed by Chris Jericho. Y2J says he wants a title shot at SummerSlam. Booker than makes Del Rio vs Chris Jericho for tonight's main event. 1) Rey Mysterio & Sin Cara defeated WWE IC Champion The Miz & Cody Rhodes. Post-match, Mysterio hit another 619 on The Miz and they had a staredown ahead of their match on Sunday. 2) Tyler Reks & Curt Hawkins (sporting a new look, as if they were strippers from Magic Mike film) defeated two local jobbers with ease. Eve Torres and William Regal in a backstage segment ahead of the WWE Divas match next to see who becomes Booker's new assistant. 3) Eve Torres defeated Kaitlyn to get the job! 4) Randy Orton defeated Daniel Bryan After the match, Triple H came down to hit the Pedigree on Bryan for a non-camera segment. 5) Antonio Cesaro defeated Zack Ryder in a one-sided match. 6) Alberto Del Rio defeated Chris Jericho in the main event. Dolph Ziggler had attacked Y2J before the match had even started and post match the pair double teamed on him until Sheamus made the save. Booker T managed to calm everything down and the result was Sheamus vs Del Rio for the World Title being back on for WWE SummerSlam.
