WWE SmackDown Star Teases Abandoned Gimmick's Return

Is it only a matter of time before THIS gimmick returns to WWE screens?

There's a chance fans could be seeing Shotzi roll to the ring in her old tank very soon.

The WWE star shared a picture of the prop on her Instagram stories this week. Shotzi's tank is currently being stored at one of the promotion's warehouses, but it's interesting that she'd post it online. Some fans believe this is a sure sign that the tank will return to SmackDown screens imminently.

Shotzi first introduced the gimmick on NXT, and WWE did bring it to the main roster when she debuted as part of a tag-team alongside Tegan Nox last year. The tank was then quietly shelved, but Shotzi previously told Ryan Satin's 'Out Of Character' show that ditching it wasn't her idea.

She'd still like to use it, and Vince McMahon's exit from the company might make that possible. Triple H viewed Shotzi as one of his pet projects on NXT before she started showing up on SmackDown, so he could be willing to make it happen.

Keep your eyes peeled for the tank then. It could be set for a bold return on Friday nights.
