WWE Star BURIED HARD On Last Night's Raw

When you're beat up as a bystander in someone else's feud, it's not going well.

Just in case fans were still holding out hope that things would look up for Mustafa Ali, WWE made sure to snuff out that last bit of optimism on Raw Monday night.

Ali lost his latest televised match, this time to Austin Theory, but it's what happened afterwards that might have signalled his complete burial.

Bobby Lashley made his way to ringside after a commercial break to confront Theory, continuing their feud from two weeks ago, which is also when he began tormenting Ali, demolishing him in a match last week. Lashley attacked Theory and chased him backstage, where Mustafa was sitting in Gorilla. Austin threw him at Lashley, and the All Mighty quickly forgot he was mad at Theory and instead abused Ali, beating him up on the entrance stage.

Ali followed the incident with a very simple tweet that of course leaves a lot of unanswered questions.

Mustafa has won just one match on Raw since June, with a 30 May win via DQ against Tommaso Ciampa. Since returning to WWE after publicly requesting his release earlier this year, Ali has won just two matches on Raw via pinfall, both against the Miz.

Barring some immediate and dramatic development, it's difficult to imagine this is leading anywhere productive for Ali.
