WWE Star Paige Gets Controversial New Tattoo
And it's not exactly PG.
WWE star Paige has apparently inked up this weekend, getting a tattoo on the side of each of her hands.
According to an Instagram post from tattoo artist Earl Funk, the 25-year-old appears to have had the words "talk s**t" and "get bit" printed on her right and left hand respectively. This is no doubt a reference to her admiration for Leicester City forward Jamie Vardy, who two years ago popularised the similar-meaning phrase "chat s**t, get banged".
On a serious note, concerns that Paige has risked drawing the ire of her employers - who are famously prudish when it comes to naughty language - are probably misplaced. Major changes to one's appearance are likely approved by WWE management in advance, and in this particular case it's nothing that couldn't be covered up by a pair of gloves anyway (which she was worn in the ring in the past).
The sentiment is likely a not-so-subtle reference to the media spotlight that has - at times, unfairly - followed the two-time Divas Champion over recent years. It is only recently that Paige has forced us all to put wrestling back on the agenda after returning (albeit all too briefly) from more than 12 months injured.
