With Dominik Mysterio as the current AAA Mega Champion, another couple of WWE names now find themselves the new AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions.

Last night's AAA TV tapings from Monterrey saw Chelsea Green and Ethan Page defeat La Hiedra and Mr. Iguana to win those Mixed Tag Titles, with Green picking up the win for her team. That brings La Heidra and Mr. Iguana's reign to an end at 329 days, having won those titles back in December against Havok and Crazzy Steve.

For those who've not been keeping up with NXT, Chelsea Green and Ethan Page have been alligned for the past couple of months, with the two even teaming up at NXT Heatwave back in August, where they notched up a win over Tyra Mae Steele and Tavion Heights in what was essentially billed as Canada vs. USA.

Green and Page have fantastic chemistry together, and their individual heel characters mesh so well that many fans have been hoping to see Ethan moved up to the main roster for a spot on SmackDown alongside Chelsea and her Green Regime act. Ethan Page certainly feels ready to put his NXT days behind him, and with rumblings of more NXT integration on Raw and SmackDown right now, he's absolutely a standout candidate for a spot on either main roster brand. Again, though, the Chelsea Green stuff works so, so well that it'd be a major shame should the NXT North American Champion not land on the blue brand at some point. And with Green and Page now AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions, that's yet another reason to spotlight Ethan on Smackers.
