WWE Stomping Grounds: 10 Things That Must Happen

5. Shane McMahon Is Set Up As Reigns Fodder

During that post-match shoeing, Shane McMahon should graze Roman Reigns with those bloody dreadful rabbit punches that p*ss people off so much, this writer included. Ideally, he'd then instruct Drew McIntyre to set Reigns up for a Shane-O-Mac Spear that'd give the heel some vengeance for what's happened on TV recently.

This would set the scene for Extreme Rules and that decisive, feud-ending Roman win over a guy few want to see pushed beyond then.

Being brutally honest, fears of a Shane McMahon WWE Title reign are rife at the moment. It may ease some of those worries if Reigns gives McMahon a thorough beating in mid-July, and this would be the set up for that match. Also being honest, Shane excels in those hardcore-style brawls. There's every reason to believe he and Reigns could tear the house down at Extreme Rules.

WWE will fancy making Roman a big part of SmackDown's move to FOX in a few months. Therefore, although a few losses don't hurt in the short term, they can't continue (especially against guys like Shane) in the long term.
