Cesaro's current persona, one that believes there should be less talking and more wrestling, is certainly interesting. The whole character has benefited from slow burn, there's been development with the 'Swiss Superman' and that should always be encouraged. Sheamus, by comparison, hadn't done much since the League Of Nations split, and was treading water before Mick Foley announced the 'Best Of 7 Series'.

The series kicked off at SummerSlam, albeit on the Kickoff show, and was predictably hard-hitting. That's why Sheamus and Cesaro work together so well, they really don't seem to mind pasting the hell out of one another during their matches. SummerSlam was no different, but on a platform many believed was ideal for elevating Cesaro, Sheamus picked up the win.

Now, the 'Best Of 7 Series' sits at 1-0 in favour of the spiky-haired star. There's a good chance Cesaro will even that up on Monday Night Raw, but it's notable that Sheamus was the one picked to get the ball rolling. At the very least, now Cesaro has something to chase, always a good position for a babyface.
