WWE SummerSlam 2016: 6 Big Matches That Must Happen (And How To Book Them)

At Payback, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn had arguably the best match of the night. They had to go out there after a horrific injury to Enzo Amore, and try to get the crowd back into the show. They did their part with the match, and Kevin Owens went on to entertain us on commentary right after the match.

Owens interfered in The Miz and Cesaro's match, and it seems likely that there will be a Fatal Four Way at Extreme Rules for the Intercontinental Championship if this week's Raw is anything to go by.

Kevin Owens will likely regain the IC title at Extreme Rules, and continue to feud with The Miz and Cesaro over the summer months. However, look for the Sami Zayn/Kevin Owens life long feud to pick back up again. Sami will be in his best role as the underdog chasing after the IC Title, but coming up just a little short.

This will culminate at SummerSlam where Zayn finally defeats Owens and captures the title.

This feud will be very similar to that of The Rock and Triple H during the Attitude Era. They each made a name for themselves in the WWE feuding over the Intercontinental Title, and eventually became rivals over the WWE Championship.

It would be nice to see something similar play out between SZ and KO in the future.
