We have seen over the last few weeks that Roman Reigns has become this tweener in the WWE Universe. He's not a good guy, he's not a bad guy, he's just the guy... but for the last 10 years John Cena has been the guy.

Cena will return from injury and will make his return to RAW at the end of May. This is a superstar matchup that WWE can use to main event their second biggest PPV/special of the year, and if all the rumours are true of Vince McMahon wanting Roman Reigns to be that next big superstar, this can be a match that sees the torch passed.

It will also be interesting to see how the crowd reacts to this main event. Both Cena and Reigns are polarising guys, cheered by the PG crowd of little kids and women, but hated and booed out of the building by most men and internet fans.

So when they are matched up against each other, who do you cheer for?

If WWE follows these feuds, it will make for some intriguing storylines over the course of the summer. These big matches at SummerSlam have something for everyone. For the hardcore internet fans, we will see names like Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, and AJ Styles getting the push they deserve.

NXT stars like Bayley, Finn Balor and Samoa Joe will make their way up to WWE TV. Big names like Seth Rollins will return to the landscape, and mainstream talents like Brock Lesnar and John Cena will round out the SummerSlam card.

Book these 6 matches, and we will have a SummerSlam event for the ages.
