Bravo 2.0 for having the foresight to know that Finn Bálor vs. 'Constable' Baron Corbin was one of SummerSlam 2018's most boring matches going in. In fact, Bálor vs. Corbin was so mind-numbing that it should have come with a public health warning beforehand. Was it going to be a good match if it lasted 10 minutes?

Was it hell.

Finn's 'Demon' was the perfect tonic to turn toilet break into worthwhile attraction tacked on as a buffer between more important matches towards the end of the card. Fans were into it, Corbin sold the terrifying visual well and Bálor finally has some of his long-lost momentum back, and not before time.

He crushed Corbin here, at once giving Stephanie McMahon's gopher his comeuppance, reintroducing a great part of his character and getting a win at SummerSlam. Rewind to last year's match against Bray Wyatt for proof that Finn has been treading water for way too long.
