Yes, I know, we all thought this rivalry was set up for another coronation for Seth Rollins. One where this time he actually properly beats Brock rather than the convoluted win he got at WrestleMania. Like, yes, he beat him, no question, but he did kick him in the dick a couple of times and your top face is sort of meant to be above that sort of thing, even if it does pop you.

The assumption was that Brock wouldn’t be sticking around all that long and was merely drafted in to give Seth a big - and desperately needed - step up from Baron Corbin. But, naturally, inevitably, Vince apparently really likes seeing his shiniest belt on significantly broader shoulders, and Brock could be set to stick around for considerably longer than initially thought.

It's a sadly predictable development, and for all the drumbeating Seth's done for the company on social media to try and... somehow... make people... like... WWE... more? (I honestly have no idea what he was doing) He's still apparently not Vinne Mac's Greased Up Star Of Choice.
