WWE SummerSlam 2019: 10 Matches That Must Happen

5. Shane McMahon vs. Drew McIntyre (No DQ)

Despite looking every bit like Vince McMahon's latest wet dream, burly Scot Drew McIntyre has been cast in the role of more athletic, Claymore-kicking Kevin Nash since crashing Raw last year. He's been muscle for Dolph Ziggler, Bobby Lashley and Baron Corbin, and now finds himself drinking champagne with Shane McMahon.

There are worse gigs, admittedly.

Don't fool yourselves though. It's only a matter of time before Shane's overbearing heel schtick gets on McIntyre's goat and causes the big Ayrshire man to strike it alone. A few months of McMahon sh*thousery would set this one up nicely; at Stomping Grounds, maybe Shane can cost Drew his match with Roman Reigns. Then, at Extreme Rules and on TV in the interim, McIntyre can show some rebel spirit against McMahon authority.

Face it, Shane isn't going away, and this is far better than recent rumours of an awkward WWE Title reign could hope to be. McIntyre deserves that spot more than Shane. It'd be a travesty if this alliance only exists because WWE's ultimate aim is Shane McMahon: WWE Champ.
