AJ Styles worked over Ricochet's knee a lot in the early knockings of their match at SummerSlam. The idea was simple: if Rico couldn't fly around the place hitting AJ from all angles, then Styles would have a better chance of beating him.

Maybe, or maybe not.

Ricochet still managed to fly, but he made sure to only springboard off his good leg. That sold AJ's earlier attacks.
