WWE SummerSlam 2021: 10 Nightmares That Could Come True
6. Edge Dominates Seth Rollins
It's mad to think that SummerSlam, despite being a major pay-ver-view that's been hyped every bit as hard as WrestleMania, could be a transitional one for some feuds. Case in point: Edge vs. Seth Rollins. There's no way the SmackDown lads are only wrestling once this year, let's be honest about it.
The pair will also lock up at Extreme Rules next month.
That, dear readers, means that SummerSlam's inaugural back-and-forth between them could be shorter than expected. Worse, Edge might totally paste his laughing (always laughing...) enemy and leave the follow up feeling tacked on and rather redundant before WWE has even started building towards it.
It'd be a bit crap if Rollins didn't get to stick his boot on the back of Edge's neck again, or if WWE didn't let these guys have the match they've dreamed about for years. Both are at their best when the pressure's on and they've got loads of time to fill.
This cannot be a one-sided kicking.
