WWE SummerSlam 2022: 10 Nightmares That Could Come True
7. Then Moves Back To An Old Feud
Countless folks on social media and beyond are predicting that Charlotte Flair will rock back into view with a bang at SummerSlam. Here's hoping her comeback involves attacking Liv Morgan and giving Liv another strong heel to beat after besting Ronda Rousey.
The alternative sucks.
Physically, Flair and Rousey had some fine scraps for the SmackDown Women's Title earlier this year. There's chemistry there, but the promo build was often painful to sit through, and it was obvious that WWE's writers had little for them in between each pay-per-view fight.
Another repeat of that doesn't sound fun for multiple reasons. Firstly, it'd push Liv out of the title mix and back into a busy chasing pack of wannabes with little to do. Second, WWE literally just wrapped this rivalry up by having Ronda best Charlotte at WrestleMania Backlash. Returning to it so soon would make the entire fanbase yawn, and it'd heap early negativity on Triple H's run as head of creative.
