WWE SummerSlam Live Review - 10 Interesting Observations You Need To Know

1. "Bullsh*t"

SummerSlam ended in the arena at pretty much the same point it did on the WWE Network. Throughout the match, The Undertaker was the clear favourite, and while some "Suplex City" chants gained some traction, they were overshadowed by a clear desire from those in attendance to see the Phenom get revenge for that loss at WrestleMania. It's interesting though that The Undertaker didn't play the role of the heel at all during the bout until that sure to be controversial ending. The bell being rung was met with a great deal of confusion, and that's mostly because it was near impossible to see The Undertaker tap out. The main Titantron screen only worked for replays and none of the action as it was happening throughout the night was shown on it (that's why Brock giving Taker the middle finger didn't receive anywhere near the kind of pop a moment like that deserved). "Bullsh*t" chants quickly started when it became clear the night was over, but they didn't gain a lot of traction. That's because everyone seemed pretty muted as they left, and SummerSlam ended on something of dour note. Walking through the crowd on the way out, all anyone was doing was complaining about that finish, with the popular theory being that it only ended that way to set up another rematch. Either way, fans were most definitely not sent home happy, and that ending definitely left something of a sour taste in the mouth of this Brock Lesnar fan too...
