John Cena vs Daniel Bryan
Overview: What a wonderful match, I must say it was! After thirty minutes of solid action, where each superstar was countering the other' moves, John Cena finally went for the Attitude Adjustment, however, it wasn't enough to end it. Daniel Bryan delivered a terrific running knee to John Cena, and pinned him, causing him to become the new WWE Champion! The crowd was happy, Triple H was happy, John Cena was smiling, and of course, the man of the night, Daniel Bryan, was filled with joy as he celebrated his victory over John Cena, which was perfectly clean. However, as the celebrations ended, Randy Orton came out with the briefcase, and stared Bryan down. As he proceeded to leave, Triple H delivered a Pedigree to Bryan, and Orton ran back to the ring, and cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase. He pinned Bryan, and won the WWE Championship, much to the dismay of everyone.Author's Thoughts: The starting bout between John Cena and Daniel Bryan was perfect. It was somewhat lackluster, however, they did end up providing a 5-star match, and I was on the edge of the seat throughout the event. Daniel Bryan was the typical underdog here, and him winning the WWE Championship made me teary-eyed. However, he did not last long, and seeing a coalition with Triple H and Randy Orton will be awesome to watch. WWE has produced a great event with an excellent main event; all they need to do now is to give us a good Raw too. Rating: 4.5/5
Final Thoughts
I simply have no words. While some thought that the pay per view was mildly boring, I enjoyed the pay per view thoroughly, and I was on the edge on my seat for every second, when I was watching the pay per view. Every match was wonderful, and I enjoyed the Divas match too, no matter how bad it was. The main event player of the night was definitely Randy Orton. I'm extremely excited for the Triple H and Randy Orton heel turn, and the future Bryan title run. John Cena was defeated clean, and for a John Cena hater, it was good to watch. Overall, I have no complaints with the pay per view. Starting from the kickoff to the main event and beyond, the show was simply amazing, and I absolutely loved it. I'm going off to watch SummerSlam again, however, this time, I'm watching it with my friends and family, which is a great experience in itself. The highs and the lows of the event are below, and so is my rating for the entire pay per view: Highs Randy Orton cashes in Match Quality Unexpected Heel Turns Cody Rhodes' performance Bray Wyatt and his Family Daniel Bryan Lows Divas matches Pacing problems in matches Overall Grade: A
