Mere hours before the event started, news spread that Saudi officials refused to grant WWE permission to stage a match between Natalya and Alexa Bliss on the card. That means three shows in the country have now passed without in-ring female representation. It didn't stop the locals from cheering for their fave WWE women.

After the Battle Royal, graphics were show on the giant screen hyping Stomping Grounds. Of note, both Bayley vs. Bliss and Becky Lynch vs. Lacey Evans were the only matches that stirred a reaction. Fans cheered wildly for both bouts.
