WWE Super ShowDown 2020: 10 Things That Must Happen

7. Bayley Retains By Cheating

One could easily play a game of 'Spot The Difference' with Bayley over the past couple of weeks on episodes of SmackDown. When the Women's Champ was sharing the spotlight with Sasha Banks, she seemed nervous and incapable. Since Sasha has been posted missing, Bayley has come into her own and turned into a better heel for flying solo.

WWE shouldn't change gears now. What they're doing is working, and Bayley is a wonderful cheat when she wants to be. Her aggression against Carmella on SmackDown recently was inspiring to watch, especially for someone (like this writer) who previously thought she was about as threatening as belly-button fluff.

At Super ShowDown, Bayley has to show that same kind of menace again. She's so much better when she's actually breaking rules, roaring at the referee when caught and mugging at fans for daring to boo her. It's taken a while, but the champ is finally starting to click as a villain.

There's no room for another friendly female exhibition, like the one Lacey Evans and Natalya worked, here.
