2. The SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match Was Great

The standard of action is obviously one of the major factors that goes into deciding whether a wrestling PPV is worth your time or not, and as we've seen with too many of these kinds of events, the poor match quality is largely to blame for the ultimately negative response.

If you had to sit through Super ShowDown, then you're probably well aware that it did little to change that, with the majority of matches just existing while others were complete slogs to get through - and anything remotely entertaining was hurt by the extremely quiet audience.

However, there was one exception to the rule, and that was the SmackDown Tag Team Championship match in which The New Day defended their titles against the newly-reunited Miz and John Morrison.

An incredibly strong showing from all four men, it was an extravaganza of high-flying risks and heart-stopping false finishes that successfully managed to get the audience livened up. Yes, it took it a while to get there as its opening was particularly slow, but it was refreshingly different from the type of bouts we're used to seeing from these super shows - and that was enough to make it stand out from the pack.
