The Undertaker's legacy has ended up at Wrestlemania €” but his roots and spiritual home began at Survivor Series. The Deadman first debuted in the WWF at the Survivor Series event on November 22nd 1990. It was a performance which christened a new star. The Undertaker was born and baptized as the future of the WWF at the event. He was unveiled as Ted DiBiase's mystery partner for a traditional Survivor Series four on four match, and immediately impressed as he eliminated Koko B Ware with what would become his trademark tombstone piledriver. He also eliminated wrestling legend Dusty Rhodes, before being eliminated himself by count out. There have been other notable Undertaker moments at Survivor Series. He beat Hulk Hogan at Survivor Series 1991 to win the WWF title. He battled Yokozuna in a casket match at the 1994 event. Then there was the modern era moments, he was famously 'buried alive' at Survivor Series in 2003 by Vince McMahon who was aided by Kane. There was also an excellent Hell in a Cell match against Batista at Survivor Series 2007. The event has been a home of sorts for Undertaker, and beyond Wrestlemania it is perhaps the Deadman's most notable event. With Undertaker possibly retiring at Wrestlemania 30, it would be fitting if WWE had him appear just one last time at the event where it all began €” Survivor Series.
