8. The Insider Speculation That Undertaker Will Return At Survivor Series
Despite little in the way of speculation in the past few weeks, there has been reports through the Summer, and even into October, that The Undertaker would be making his WWE comeback at Survivor Series. The WWE twitter was even teasing the idea that the Deadman would be walking back into Survivor Series. The fact that this speculation existed, and has now gone very quiet (perhaps to build the surprise) is further evidence that the return could be on for Sunday's event. There is further reasoning from insiders that Undertaker could be back this weekend. He was after all meant to make a surprise appearance at Summerslam, but dropped out due to health. The respected industry insider Bryan Alvarez in October speculated on his subscription only Figure Four Weekly newsletter that Taker may be used at Survivor Series -
"Undertaker may be back at Survivor Series or Royal Rumble depending on his health. He had agreed to do one non-WrestleMania PPV this year, which was supposed to be SummerSlam teaming with Kane vs. Shield, but he was injured when Shield put him through a table in the post-WrestleMania angle and hasn't been back since. "He met with HHH last week and they presented some ideas to him, but again, when he chooses to return will be dependent on how his body feels."
