WWE Survivor Series 2013: 10 Reasons The Undertaker Might Return

3. Confront John Cena

john-cena-wwe-champion The current world champion, John Cena is one of the hotly tipped stars to face Undertaker at Wrestlemania 30. It would be one of the best matches that WWE could do, with few other legitimate challengers left to battle Taker. The two men locked horns in Cena's early days with the company in 2003. The action was decent, and it was some of Cena's better early work. Now a veteran himself, a current-day Cena vs Taker battle would be very entertaining. The fact that WWE has held off putting these mega stars together for so long means that when they eventually do clash it will be massive. Cena is also one of the few men who could be perceived as a threat to Undertaker. Super Cena isn't really one for losing, and has beaten some of the biggest names in WWE history, meaning there would be huge heat to this feud. Cena would be booed out of the building for even daring to step up in the ring with Taker, and self-perceived smart mark fans would probably have some sort of heart attack if Cena was to get even a near fall on the streak at Mania. This match will get reactions. There is so much fun that WWE, Cena and Taker could have with this. Survivor Series is the place to start such a feud. The potential for great creativity is limitless, so the earlier that the WWE start this feud the better. Cena could retain against Del Rio and then Taker comes out and just stares. Cena looks concerned. The World title would also be key to this story. Cena said he was going to restore prestige to the world title, and what better way to do it than putting it on the line against the Deadman's streak? It would be an easy sell, that's for sure. You couldn't imagine Cena dropping the title but you couldn't imagine Taker losing the streak either. Situations like this make for the most must see matches in wrestling.
