WWE Survivor Series 2016 Eliminations - From Worst To Best
3. Braun Strowman
It isn't every year that a countout will feature so high in a list of best eliminations, but such is the booking and progress of Braun Strowman this year that even the inevitability of this couldn't stop it from being excellent. Strowman looked like the beast he clearly is during the match, destroying all before him in a continual showcase of his power.
It took all manner of shenanigans to eliminate him. Shane hit him with a Leap of Faith elbow through the announce desk, but even after that Strowman would have made the count if it wasn't for that meddling James Ellsworth.
Strowman would get his revenge by hurling James Ellsworth back over the border, but the damage was done and Braun was gone. Playing on the history between Strowman and Ellsworth was a nice touch, and the Black Sheep continues to be one of 2016's most surprising success stories.
2. AJ Styles
The fantasy booking scenarios for a Shield reunion have been going around ever since they split up, but as 2015 turned into 2016 you still would have got long odds on it coming around in order to eliminate AJ Styles from a brand supremacy Survivor Series match. 2016 has been weird.
Styles was putting in another top drawer performance, but the combined efforts of Reigns, Rollins and Ambrose would be too much. The Phenomenal One was put through a table via powerbomb and rolled back into the ring for the inevitable pinfall. It was quite the moment.
