Result: Triple H trolls Shane with a Pedigree to win Team Raw the match and the night (33:20).

Rating: After last year's epic, superbly-booked 53-minute Survivor Series match, this just felt like a total letdown. Though there was a ton of potential to see some wish fulfilment match-ups, daft booking quickly scattered a lot of the promise.

Nakamura, Roode and Joe being eliminated so hastily, and the match's general focus on older talents over rising stars just felt incredibly misguided.

Sure, Braun Strowman got a nice rub out of it, but the Triple H fake-out at the end was more confusing and weird than entertaining, and from the flat crowd response it's clear the moment didn't play out how it was intended.

Once again the McMahons made themselves front-and-center of a match that had so much more potential elsewhere. It had fun moments and certainly wasn't a bad match, but it was also a fair few notches below where it should've been. 6/10
